1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site. We operate on our own with no ties to any government office. We do not store official criminal records and we cannot pull records, run official background checks, or file documents for anyone.

The website points readers toward the Calhoun County Sheriff, Calhoun Circuit Clerk, Illinois State Police Bureau of Identification, and ISP Offender Registry. It may also connect visitors with third-party research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information from this site or a linked tool may not be used to harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or unlawfully discriminate. Illinois law restricts misuse of ISP Offender Registry data, and a violation may carry criminal penalties. Registry information exists for lawful community awareness, never vigilantism or blacklisting.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A check for an FCRA-regulated purpose must come through an authorized Illinois State Police process or a screening provider that complies with the FCRA.
